The Building Surveyor raised several matters.
For instance, there was a note about the set back from the
boundary, asking for assurance that the architects had allowed
enough thickness for the wall cladding. A Protection Works
Notice (Form 6 of the Building Code of Australia) was prepared
and forwarded to each respective neighbour for approval, describing
the manner in which the neighbouring properties would be protected
against any accidental damage during the construction works.
