Why Used: Aalto’s EccoTherm paint is a radiant heat efficient paint reflecting 30% of radiant heat, compared to only 5% offered by standard paints.  EccoTherm works by altering the spectral properties of the surface material without affecting its appearance to create higher thermal comfort and achieve energy savings in heating and cooling.  EccoTherm paint reflects radiant heat back into a room during winter and reverses this radiant barrier effect in summer by keeping the heat out.  Also specialists in colour, Aalto made a unique colour for the Mosman Green interiors.  For more information visit www.aaltocolour.com

Why Used: Aalto Matt Acrylic
Matt acrylic is a premium quality, smooth, low sheen finish for interior walls and ceilings. Suitable for living areas, hallways and bedrooms. Light soiling is easily removed using a non-abrasive cloth.

Aalto Eggshell Acrylic
A durable, high quality, low odour, acrylic ideal for use in interior living areas, hallways and bedrooms. This soft, satin finish is typical of eggshell emulsions from the UK giving an apparently deeper finish than many modern acrylic paints.

Aalto Semi Gloss Acrylic
A premium quality, satin finish for interior walls and ceilings. Ideal for use in areas where serviceability is a key factor such as kitchens, bathrooms, laundries, and high traffic areas.

Aalto Gloss Acrylic
A premium quality finish with excellent gloss level and high ultra violet and chalking resistance for exterior and interior timber, masonry and fibre cement board.

Real Flame – Pebble Fire Place

Where Used: Dining room
Why Used: To revitalise the existing fireplace and to improve its energy efficiency, Archicentre chose to install a Real Flame pebble fire.  The fire features electronic ignition and is operated by a wall switch which can be wired into home automation systems if desired.  Real Flame pebble fires offer a unique and interesting focal point and add warmth and ambience to any home.  Real Flame offer pebble fires for existing fireplaces as well as a wide range of modular box systems for new fireplace construction.  For more information visit www.realflame.com.au

HPM - Lighting

Where Used: Throughout the Mosman Green property
Why Used: The vast majority of internal lights used within the Mosman green project are Nelson low voltane downlights with stainless steel trim supplied by our good friends at HPM.  We also used a variety of HPM lighting projects outdoors which include:-

In-Ground Uplights
Used along the garden paths and on the timber deck are HPM’s In-Ground Uplights.  This versatile inground uplight is ideal for illuminating fountains, trees and shrubs as well as courtyards, paths and driveways.

Mini Spotlight
The mini spotlight is perfect for highlighting feature areas around the home, such as sculptures, water features or greenlife.  Great for both visual impact and safety.  We used these lights in the Mosman Green garden and around planting.

Deck and Step Light
The HPM deck and step light is a stylish outdoor lighting solution, ideal for providing directional light to highlight steps and retaining walls.  That’s why we used it for the steps.

EDO Cube Light
The EDO Cube light is a contemporary garden light, perfect for adding a modern touch to the Mosman Green courtyards.

The Elements Round Pathlight
Used along the paths in Mosman Green, the Elements Round Pathlight adds a contemporary look as well as providing a well lit pathway.
