Archicentre, the building advisory service of the Royal Australian Institute of Architects, has sold its benchmark environmental project Mosman Green, developed over the past two years for $2.2 million following spirited bidding.

The renovation display home by Archicentre in partnership with Boral to demonstrate ESD, Environmentally Sustainable Design Principles, in a renovation and was the result of a design competition won by architect Stephen Petrie.

New South Wales State Manager of Archicentre, Mr. David Lawrence said: "Mosman Green set a benchmark for all new renovations to follow that where ever possible significant water and energy management systems are incorporated through intelligent and creative architectural design."

The sale of Mosman Green demonstrates home buyers value the environmental and lifestyle options offered by intelligent environmental design.
