Robert Caulfield will move from being Managing Director to taking on a new role coordinating Communications and Special Projects. Mr Caulfield, responsible for the concept of Archicentre thirty one years ago, has provided the organisation with strong leadership to promote the work of architects around Australia and assist home buyers and renovators in making informed decisions. The forerunner
of Archicentre opened the doors in 1978 in Auburn Road, Hawthorn with
Mr Caulfield as a single employee who answered the phones, took the orders
and also did many of the original inspections. Today Archicentre has 50 employees, 920 architects and a national network completing around 500 reports weekly having assisted around 4000 architects and their companies gain work. It is Australia's largest home inspection organization and the largest initiator of home renovations. Commenting on his new position Mr Caulfield said he looked forward to increasing Archicentre's public relations output and continuing to build its important role of providing housing pre-purchase inspections, renovation designs and consumer information to Australian home owners. |
