Archicentre Design Reports

An individual, creative design to suit individual needs and taste. This service is excellent for renovations and new homes. Where the thinking happens at the beginning of the project and not the end.

Q. What is included in a Design Report?
A. Following an architect’s visit to your property, the Archicentre Design Report comes with a stunning design enhancement of your existing house (Renovation Report) or building site (New Home Design). Sketches, lifestyle plan, recommendations, cost estimates and feasibility statements are all by-products to what the service really delivers, and that is the creativity and expertise of using an architect.

Q. How long does it take ?
A. Design reports generally take 4-6 weeks.

Q. What preparation do we need to take?
A. Perhaps ask yourself a couple questions. Do you know specifically what you want or are you open to more than one option? What goals will the new plan accomplish? Take these thoughts to your architect

Q. Will the architect specialize in the type of work we want ?
A. Absolutely. Let Archicentre play matchmaker. Our service personnel can select an architect who works in your style with care and sensitivity to your circumstance, lifestyle and budget.

Q: What will the design report achieve?
A: Architects can save people thousands of dollars with good design. Your architect's design report will combine a variety of factors such as space restrictions, privacy, circulation, sound-proofing, energy-efficiency, cost-effective materials, the environment, and maximising views. The result is premium resale value and priceless lifestyle benefits. If these things are important to you, get an Archicentre design report, and experience design excellence.

Q: After using the Archicentre design service, what are the advantages of using an architect to administer the building contract?
A: The architect can help you achieve a better result without getting deeply involved in everyday building matters. This equates to quality time, peace of mind, and more money in your pocket. The architect can also assist with council permits, selecting builders, competitive tenders and can professionally oversee the building project to a satisfactory conclusion. Remember the architect is your agent, ensuring your best interests are preserved from start to finish.

Q How can we use the design report?
A The Design Report is best used as a long-term lifestyle planner. Map out a design brief to assess feasibility, finances and future family needs. Your architect will provide creative direction and add strength to your ideas.

Q. How much does it cost?
A. Costs vary. To find out more information, simply submit a booking query and you will be contacted at your convenience by an Archicentre representative. Remember to include your state and phone number so we can respond rapidly.
